Snughouls Series 3

It's the DAWN OF THE FINAL DAY my friends!!

YOU DID IT cryptid cuddlers!!! The patchwork bat is now an official S3 snughoul and prototyping can begin shortly! 💖

I'm so thrilled by the diversity of the S3 lineup. Prototyping is always a bit of a rollercoaster with plenty of ups and downs, but I can honestly say it feels like Christmas came early with all these colorful creatures to work with and develop over the next several months.  I'll eat, sleep, and breathe Snughouls for the foreseeable future and I don't mind it!!!



While I'm here, I also want to extend my gratitude yet again for making all this possible. It's no secret that the prevailing sentiment of the world right now is one of fear and instability, and to launch a project like this, in a climate like this, feels both necessary and a little foolhardy. We need whimsy!! But we also need to be able to afford groceries in an increasingly expensive world, and juggling those two seems kinda impossible sometimes.

All of this to say, I'm deeply honored that over 2000 of you chose to find your fun and whimsy, your lil-something-to-take-the-edge-off, here with the Snughouls, and we can't wait to deliver for a 3rd time!

And if you're on the fence about pledging, please know that every additional dollar helps us order even more Snughouls and deliver even more whimsy to the folks that desperately need it. This is the ground floor, and you guys are the pillars that allow the Snughouls and Tiny Teeth as a whole to keep growing!

I want to reiterate that if time wasn't a limiting factor here, I would absolutely add all the finalists to the lineup! I think they're all incredible and would look right at home in the snughoul fam. But just because we don't have time right now, doesn't mean they won't join us at a later date 😉
 


Today I also want to celebrate how close we are to unlocking our FINAL stretch goal, the patchwork bat!! Less than 2k to go now, bat enjoyers!

To sweeten the pot a bit, along with the plush, unlocking the patchwork bat will also unlock this adorable new keychain and enamel pin design. It looks like Pumpkin Patch Beelzebear isn't the only one with corvid companions anymore-- maybe these two have more in common than we realized? 🫢

Genuinely, I have never been more in the dark about who might win a poll. I just loved all the entries so much 😭 We could have had an 8-way tie and I wouldn't even bat an eye.

But the results are in, and the backers have spoken! Brave Axe Minotaur and Secretive Sphynx will be going head to head to decide who becomes the next official snughoul! (Is anyone else picturing a WWE title match but with snughouls? Just me??)

Voting ends on 10/30 at 5pm PST!
